We had a guest speaker from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Luke Svare. He shared good information about getting grant money. We'll be working on our grant proposals soon, but if approved, that money won't be available until 2024.
We discussed trail maintenance, particularly the Pipeline Trail (668) in the Captain Jacks trail system. A video of its condition can be viewed here:

Another trail we discussed was the damaged bridge on trail 731 up in the Divide/Cedar Mountain trail system. A video of that can be seen here:

There is a meeting planned for 19 May 2022 to discuss the El Paso County Parks Master Plan. This is a very important meeting for our members to attend en masse. Please see the Calendar for more information.
