Our January meeting had 23 members and 3 guests attend. The meeting slides have been uploaded to our documents library. Log in to check them out. Our three guests were from the Forest Service: Ryan Kolling, Josh Cowden, and Brian Banks. Ryan gave a presentation on the Rampart Range Fuel Break Wildfire Crisis Strategy 5-year plan. His slides are also posted on our webpage. Basically, there will be fire mitigation processes ongoing in the Rampart Range and North Divide trails areas over the next 5 years. This will be an ongoing process and the FS plans to work with CMTRA and RRMMC throughout the fire mitigation effort to insure our trail system is maintained. - We elected John Kennedy as the club's new Vice President. Thanks for stepping up, John! A reminder that the 2025 edition of the Dakar Rally is ongoing until 17 Jan 2025. There are several Americans competing in a variety of classes.
