We had a great turnout this year for our CMTRA Holiday party: 38 members and 12 guests, 50 in total! We had tons of food, great camaraderie, and cool stuff to give away.
As we have the past 2 years, we kept track of how our membership participated in meetings, workdays, and other club events throughout the year. Here's a few highlights:
-56 different members attended one or more club meetings this year
--Lisa Copeland had perfect attendance!
-13 members participated in a club ride at Seep Springs in November
-36 members volunteered at various events (Apex, Aravaipa, RRMMC Poker Run, Endurocross)
-24 Members participated in workdays (Penrose Commons, Nelson's Trail on Mt Rosa, Texas Creek)
-And we were the #2 volunteer organization in the Pikes Peak Ranger District with a combined total of over 2,100 hours of volunteer time
Although the photos below don't show all the donated items we had to give away, we had plenty of tires, clothing, helmets, ramps, and other goodies this year. We gave items out to our top 14 points earners and then raffled off the rest to members. Everyone received a small goodie bag, which included one of our club Join Us business cards to hand out next year when they meet someone on the trails who isn't yet a club member.
