Pikes Peak APEX Bicycle Race Support

We need a few volunteers to help out.  We did this the past two years and had a lot of fun with the racers in the event.

Our plan is to meet at the Capt Jacks trailhead on Lower Gold Camp road at 0745, on Sunday morning, 10 Sep 2023.  We'll ride up to High Drive on trail 665 (Capt Jacks) and wait for the first racers to come through.  Then we'll head on up trail 667 to Buckhorn and take our position at the 776/667 trail intersection.

If you'd like to see what we've done in the past, check out this video:

We have a lot of fun and get very good feedback from the event organizers. We'll be giving club points to our volunteers for this event, so sign up soon!  Unless we are asked to pull course markers on the way back down to the Jacks trailhead, we'll probably leave our station after the last racer comes through (usually before noon) and do a loop ride on Capt Jacks trail system.

Get out and Ride!  Come join us.

If you plan to join us, PLEASE click on the APEX Volunteer form link below, and complete their standard volunteer and release form.  Your club affiliation should be CMTRA and your are volunteering to be a Course Marshal.
