Colorado Springs Endurocross
About this event
We will be at this event to promote CMTRA. For the night show (after 7pm), we will have a table inside with our club banner, stickers, and pamphlets. We'll need a couple of volunteers to man the table and take questions from passers by about what we do. We'll be encouraging them to join our club. The night time show table will need some volunteers to man it from about 6pm until 10pm. They will also be able to watch the races as well.
We will also be sponsoring two members to race in Tim Hilton's Over 50 class. At our September 11 meeting, we tagged Jeremy Andrew and Ryan Friend to race in Tim's Over 50 class.
We'll set up our EZ-UP in Tim's pit location on Friday night before the race, and Jeremey and Ryan will use that area for their pits. We'll have a table out there with stickers and brochures as well. We'll need a few volunteers to help out in the pit area all day long. We'll also set up a grill and be doing a tailgate kinda thing pretty much all day long. We'll need to be at the track before 0800 on Saturday morning to get our racers ready to roll for their practice and heat races.
If you want to join us in the pit area, you don't need to be there all day long. You'll need to get some pit passes if you want to go inside the arena, but if staying outside, you'll probably just have to pay for parking. TBD. So, if you wanted to come in later during the day, that is fine as well.
As for the night show, we encourage members to buy tickets and come out for the race! It should be entertaining, especially once our guys get on the track!
