Our March meeting had an outstanding turnout of 32 members and 5 guests attend. The meeting slides have been uploaded to our documents library. Log in to check them out. Carl Bauer and his Forest Service team (Christina Barba and Ryan Harlow) gave us a briefing on planned fire mitigation efforts in the Pikes Peak region coming in the next few years. These efforts may impact some of our trail system, and we've asked to stay in the communication chain to let us know when and where efforts may take place so we can keep our motorized community informed. We need to obtain insurance coverage to cover any vendor actions in their efforts. We are looking at two vendors to perform the work. Our selection will be announced soon.
