The meeting slides have been uploaded to our documents library.  Log in to check them out.

We welcomed new member, Young Yu, recently retired from the US Air Force.  He's looking forward to getting in some rides with our members.  Welcome, Young!

Some topics of discussion were:

-CMTRA was recognized by the USFS as runner up volunteer group of the year in the Pikes Peak region.  Thanks to all our members who have participated in events, workdays, and meetings this past year!

-We showed off our new banner flags.  They look GREAT!  Nice job Executive Team members!

-We plan to buy some additional handles for our trail maintenance tool kit and another backpack.  We'll need them for the work we plan on doing in 2025!

-We had a great turnout and lots of fun at the World Arena Endurocross.  Unfortunately, our lone rider Tim Hilton crashed early on in practice and broke his wrist.  Heal fast, Tim!  We signed up 10 members during the event.  We hope this event comes back next year!

-Our Texas Creek workday was a success.  We got our Yamaha Grant sign installed and then did a 33 mile ride through the trail system looking for any intruding tree branches to cut out.  We did find a few, but mostly got in a great ride.  Thanks to all who came out, as well as those from RRMMC and the RGFO of the BLM.

-Planning for our December meeting/Holiday party has begun.  Please go to our calendar link and register so we know how much food we'll need.  You can sign up here:  CMTRA Monthly Meeting, Holiday Party - 12/11/2024

-We are looking to replace Mark Reimler as Vice President.  He will vacate his position in January so he can be more active in his role as a CPW reviewer for grant submissions.  If you are interested in filling that position, please contact one of our Executive Team members and let them know.  We will be voting in that position at our January meeting.  The other positions will remain as is, unless someone wants to volunteer for one of those and we'll include you on the ballot at our January meeting.

- Our member spotlight was John Kennedy.  John recently retired and turned 70!  WhooHoo!  John looks forward to riding during the week with our other retired folks.  He's an avid dirt biker and has probably ridden nearly every trail in Colorado and eastern Utah.
