CMTRA assists RMFI

Four CMTRA members, Bret Williamson, Tad Hershey, Willard Tillman, and Lonny Crawford met with members of the Rocky Mountain Field Institute (RMFI) on 18 September 2024 at the High Drive intersection of the Capt Jacks trail, 665. They loaded up backpacks and their bikes with supplies for RMFI's 10-day work party in Jones Park.
The CMTRA members rode their motorcycles up trail 667 to Jones Park, the 622 intersection location, about 3 miles and a 1300' ascent. They each carried a full backpack with RMFI supplies. RMFI also had many hikers carrying loads to the same location. Those CMTRA riders helped lighten the hiker's loads and their efforts were much appreciated.
