About the CMTRA

For over 30 years we have been active in trail maintenance of Colorado motorcycle trails in the Pikes Peak and Southern Colorado region. We actively work with Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management to help maintain multi-use trails and keep these trails open. Also through the State Trails Program we obtain grants that are used toward Colorado motorcycle trail maintenance.

We feel our active involvement is critical to keeping our Colorado motorcycle trails open.

We also do plenty of riding, so please join us!

CMTRA promotes responsible riding of off road motorcycles. Remember you represent the off road community when you are on the trail. Also remember that noisy off road vehicles is perhaps the single most concerning issue causing non-motorized trail users to unite against us. Please abide by the following guidelines when riding. Go out of your way to interact with others using our trails and educate them on the work and progress you have made to maintain and improve the trails we all commonly use. This communication can go a long way to break down barriers and show people that we are responsible and proffessional motorcycle riders.

  • Ride only on trails designated for off road vehicles or motorcycles
  • Respect others on the trails, be courteous and respectful of everyone.
  • Slow down or stop for horses and other livestock
  • Ride safely
  • Ride quietly
