Our April meeting had 29 members and guests. Great turnout!
The main topics of discussion were the upcoming workdays we have planned:
-- Saturday, 20 April: We'll be joining several other clubs at Penrose Commons to install our sign and to work with the BLM on several projects. The is a calendar event for anyone interested in signing up to join us. Free lunch provided!
--Sunday, 2 June: We will be helping RRMMC with their Spring Poker Run by manning one of their checkpoints. There is a calendar event for signing up.
--Sunday, 9 June: Once again, we will be manning a marshaling point for the APEX Bicycle Race. We've been supporting this event every year, and there is a calendar event to sign up for this one as well.
--Saturday, 22 June: We will be manning an aid station for the 100 mile/100 kilometer Aravaipa running race. Check out the calendar event if you are interested in supporting this one.
Our member spotlight was Rich Mohr. Rich has several KTMs, including a brand new one he has but a couple of miles on! We offered to take him on some rides to help him break it in and put some scratches on it! Get out and ride!!!! Thanks for being a lifetime member, Rich.
